So yesterday marked my first day as an employee at BJ's pizza. It wasnt glamorous or really all that fun, but it is a source of income and thats all im really concerned about. Help!!
I guess it was only inevitable for this to happen. Things continuously spiral further downhill on the job front, and are only expected to grow worse with the misplacement of my cell phone. Conditions on the home front continue to steadily worsen. Our move in date for the apt. has been set for june 20th, which means ill have to remain under my parents roof for another 20 or so days. Lets just hope i can stay on my parent's good side for these remaining 20 days in hopes of salvaging any good term relationship between them and myself.
I was recently suspended from work for missing a store meeting, which in turn became a mini-vacation for myself. No complaints on this side of things, although it was a bit embarassing.
Last night we rode bikes all over New Iberia. Good times were had. Yesterday turned out to be one of the most complete days ive had in quite some time. Much was accomplished.. |

So another weekend has come and gone, leaving me to think about the possibilities of my upcoming days off. Dammit!! its only monday and customers are already beginning to get on my nerves. I seriously despise answering the phone and getting nothing but negative cell phone bullshit from customers.
fortunately my evenings make my days worth enduring. |

I think my jeep has a personal vendetta against all humans who partake in its operation. So once again i am left on a whim with no vehicle to drive, which is becoming a recurring pattern in my life.
Looking forward to this weekend, which will be my first off in 5 weeks. yes!! this means plenty of time to hang out and such. |

I yearn for next friday in order to fulfill my need for cash. My tank is on empty, which sucks b/c i have work all this coming week. I need to become more "Codeylion" and begin a strenuous search for change upon the ground. This may help with my predicament. |

Sometimes it feels as if i have been blessed with the ability to coast through life, which i must admit is the perfect mindset when faced with negative circumstances. i guess i do tend to overlook this at times, but thanks to PEOPLE i am brought back into this particular plain of existence or thinking. Last night i encountered an old friend and was enthralled with the differences i found in ourselves and our lives. when i was younger i looked at him as just another one of my friends, but now i see how completely different i am from him. whew!!
still yearning for lafayette. new iberia is nice and all but its wearing me out. every night i find myself turning in at unreasonable early hours.
watched i<3huck' the other day. really good movie. glad i watched it.
ready to get off tonight..bleh..its only 12:14, which means i have an awfully long time remaining. |

last evening was surely a refreshing way to end such a hectic day. great buzzes and conversations were had throughout the night, ending with a feast of royal proportions(ie turkey sandwiches). hmm. I hope i have a job come next week, but if not i will simply move on to different things.
im ready for my return to lafayette. living in new iberia has proven to be relaxing, but costly in terms of providing my vehicle with the proper quantities of fossil fuels. hopefully selling the jeep will not be a lengthy process..
evenings in new iberia are perfect for riding my bike. ive been all about that sleepy little town, and it seems that cars must cease their prowl post 10pm, leaving the streets free of all the humanoids. its really quite nice..
im ready to see all of my friends and spend time with each and every one of them on a one on one basis. this has just been difficult thus far with the onset of summer and my penance in new iberia. it shall soon end!! i promise |

Thus far summer has treated me quite nicely, despite the fact that im temporarily stationed in New Iberia. My sister returns this evening from her trip to Cinci, which means ill be sleeping upon a blow-up air mattress. So if i seem a bit stiff over the course of the next few days it just means that my body is adjusting to the comforts or lack thereof provided by a blow-up air mattress.
(Just recently I have created a newfound opinion of self, which in my opinion has been advantageous in my interactions with others.)
So in hopes of ending this journal entry, and refraining from long-winded rants, I have elected to make a list of upcoming goals for the impending summer.
here goes:
-swim?
-gallantly return to lafayette(possible party?)
-celebrate mr john s. stephens bday(in grand fashion, as to not disappoint the bday boy)
-hang out with my dear old friend Adam, who just recently returned from an extended stay in japan.
-cover an extensive amount of literature before the upcoming fall semester wipes away all notions of leisure reading.
-get some muscles?
-new clothes
-find and attain a new job
-play some f'in video games
-watch star wars |
